Making the Rounds

  • Meta rolls out personalization tools for Reels. Now you can use the new ā€œShow Moreā€ and ā€œShow Lessā€ features to customize what you see in the Reels feed. With Reels now being shared over 2 billion times per day, Metaā€™s looking to keep pushing in hopes of toppling TikTok.

  • Twitter users with 1M+ followers get a free blue check. After eliminating blue checks for all verified non-subscribers back on April 20, users with 1M followers or more have now regained their blue check without having to pay for it. Psyche!

  • Google begins rolling out passkeys to replace passwords and 2FA. Tired of getting stuck in the two-factor authentication loop from hell every time you travel? Google announced today its begun rolling out passkeys based on biometrics (like your fingerprint) or the screen lock pin used to unlock your phone.

Working For Yourself

When Freelancers Say Theyā€™ll Work On Their Side Hustle After Client Stuff

Ever heard the concept of ā€œpay yourself first?ā€

This advice usually applies to moneyā€¦

But it can (and should) also apply to your time.

If youā€™re working on a side hustle, donā€™t leave it till the end of your dayā€¦

Because youā€™ll often be too tired or stressed out to put in quality time on it.

Instead, spend the first hour of your day working for yourself.

Whether thatā€™sā€¦

ā†’ Growing your audience on social media
ā†’ Building a digital product
ā†’ Or learning new skills

Not only will that investment compound over timeā€¦

But putting yourself first is a subconscious signal that will give you a greater feeling of control over your business and your life.

Tool of the Week

Stop Taking Notes On Client Calls and Do This Instead

Forget Jasper, QuillBot, or ChatGPTā€¦

One of the most effective AI tools weā€™ve come across is a meeting assistant called Fireflies.

Not only does it record a video of your meetingā€¦

It also creates a highly-accurate searchable written transcriptā€¦

Plus it generates a concise meeting summary so anyone who wasnā€™t on the call can quickly get up to speed on topics discussed and takeaways.

Itā€™s been a huge time-saver for us, and our clients love it too.
