• OpenAI releases GPT-4. The newest AI model is a major upgrade from GPT-3.5. Not only can it generate higher-quality dad jokes accept up to 25,000 words of text input, but it can also accept image inputs too.
  
  

• YouTubers report Shorts monetization better than TikTok or Instagram Reels. The early numbers are in, and it looks like YouTube Shorts are the best channel for short-form monetization. With that said, the numbers are still pretty paltry. One creator reported earning just $2,918 from a whopping 196M views.
  
  

• Google announces generative AI upgrades for Gmail and Google Docs. The company will implement its PaLM AI technology to help users work faster in its suite of office apps.
